Happy Belated Easter

I told you I’d be back. I had an extremely busy afternoon, and somehow managed to waste an hour and a half of my time on hold with Comcast. Of course, my problem has not been resolved, so I get to repeat the fun tomorrow. Word to the wise: when Comcast makes a mistake to the tune of $300 that you don’t actually owe them and tells you not to worry because it won’t be reported to credit agencies, don’t believe them. And especially don’t wait until you’re trying to put an offer on a house to pull your credit report and make sure there’s nothing amiss. Really, everyone should just cancel cable and watch their TV online.

But that’s not why we’re here.

In honor of the day all the Easter candy goes on sale, I made an Easter card today. I also came up with a fun new challenge for myself: make a card without any of your essential supplies, which are all out in your car because you’re too lazy to cart them back into the house.

I failed. I had to go out and get my Fiskars trimmer and my ATG. Otherwise, this card was made with watercolor pencils, an image that I printed out weeks ago, and some really fabulous American Crafts paper that I bought specifically for Easter and then neglected to use.

Every time I use watercolor pencils I’m reminded that I should use watercolor pencils more often. They are so much fun.  I’m still very messy with them, but I tell myself that’s part of the effect.

The digi is, of course, from The Stamping Boutique. I feel like I haven’t done nearly enough raving about how much fun these stamps are to color. I lub them all. And Tracey is constantly coming out with new images which you can see on the TSB blog, or by friending TSB on Facebook.

Oh, also I have a new post up at ScrapbookingSuppliesRUs. I know, it’s about time. There will be three more this week to make up for my long absence.
